With the Blessings of  Waheguru ji ,  Global Punjabi Association successfully launched their first programme of Kirtan Darbar on 12 th  August at Gurudwara Shri Dasmesh Darbar, Thane .

On this momentous occasion  Hazoori Ragi, Bhai Inderjeet Singh ji Khalsa   (from  G olden T emple, Amritsar )  performed Kirtan and Katha was narrated by Giani Jaswinder Singhji (Head Granthi of Golden Temple, Amritsar ).

The Kirtan Darbar  was attended by around 3000 sangat (people)and food (langar ) was served to all.

The Whole Gurudwara was decorated with flowers and balloons and a huge bunch of around 2000 balloons having wordings of Global Punjabi association was released in the sky by Giani Jaswinder Singh ji & Bhai Inderjeet Singh Khalsa ji to announce the launch of the association. The Kirtan Darbar was attended by dignitaries all around Mumbai & Thane.

 The idea of Global Punjabi association is to contribute substantially to the Society - wherever in the world it might be - with a clear focus on providing free medical help, free education to the underprivileged, disaster relief, assistance to old-age homes, arranging mass marriages etc.  Naturally as fun-loving Punjabis we shall be celebrating Baisakhi and Lohri Festivals with gusto as well.

Global Punjabi Association will continue in putting their efforts to make this world a better place to live in.
